Geographically located to the north of the city of Pescara (the provincial capital) to which it is linked along the Adriatic Coast (approximately 5 km from the city centre).

The town’s economy mainly turns around tourism. All the hotels in Montesilvano are situated directly overlooking the sea just 30 metres from the beach. Montesilvano has plenty of fun spots open until the early hours of the morning.

About 300m from the town boundary is the motorway junction (Pescara-North) leading to either the A14 (Adriatic motorway) or the A24 (Rome and Abruzzo Apennines motorway).

Pescara airport (Abruzzo airport) is just 10 km away with flights to Milan- Rome-Palermo-Turin, as well as international flights.

Also just 10 km away is the Pescara Marina.

Rome can be reached in just two hours along the motorway, while the city ​​of Chieti is a 20-minute drive, the city of Teramo a 30 minute drive and the city of Aquila a 60 minute drive away.
